Calling All Peaceful Warriors!
This class combines 50% Pilates & 50% Yoga Pilates and emphasizes stretch and lengthening of the core, pelvis, back and scapular. Preps are included for resistance and strength enhancement. Results are FAST if consistent with the method of Joseph Pilates. The Yoga poses are designed to counter pose the Pilates work balance, strength, stretch, breath work, soothing poses to leave you feeling longer and calmer.
About the Teacher – Elaine Peebles
Pilates has been part of my life for over 25 years. This form, this method of mind body integration has helped me grow, heal, and become empowered when life handed me a brain tumor. My recovery was fast and I became stronger mentally and physically. Pilates and yoga can produce miracles. I completed my Pilates Mat certification in 2000 in New York and have been teaching in NJ, MA, CA, MD and Tampa Bay. I completed a power yoga certification with Adrienne Reed in 2013. In my classes, I love to combine dynamic creative sequencing, props, playfulness, and some hard work.
