Heather Schwarz and Renee’ Caputi, our Founders and Directors, have extensive experience in businesses as well as over 25 years each in private banking, lending, real estate, and wealth management. They have spent that time advising entrepreneurs and businesses on growth strategies, operational efficiencies, and management of assets and liabilities.
Heather and Renee both envisioned opening a nature retreat to offer the same types of wellness and healing experiences that they have personally experienced at places all over the globe, which was the inspiration for Takoda Wellness Ranch. They have spent over a decade researching natural healing methodologies and wellness treatments; travelling to places as far away as Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Norway, Britain, and Alaska to experience wellness treatments in a variety of settings from many different types of providers.
Heather is a real estate developer, investor and entrepreneur at heart. As her and Renee were driving in search of real estate opportunities, they fortuitously stumbled across this ranch for sale and immediately knew- this was it! Their dream of opening a wellness ranch was turned into a reality with this 115 acre property.
Heather has a passion for helping people and sharing her experiences in the alternative wellness space. She also loves all furry four legged animals.
Her favorite part of the ranch is that peaceful and relaxing feeling she gets when driving slowly up the gravel driveway and seeing the horses and cows on the pasture on top.
Renee is an attorney, advisory wealth planner and entrepreneur at heart. She has traveled the world and experienced a wide variety of healing modalities and is proud to bring all of those experiences to our nature preserve and ranch.
Renee and her family are residents of Brooksville and live right down the road from the ranch. Everyone in her family is involved in the day to day operations, from land and cattle management to running the equestrian non-profit and other horse related activities.
Her favorite part of the ranch is taking the ATV everyday for night and morning checks to visit the cows and the horses.
